Have you ever dreamed of an automated home?

HAI makes your home more comfortable, convenient, and safe

A home that turns your temperature down when you're away for energy management.

A home with lighting sequences for "good night", "good morning", "romantic", or "entertainment".

A home where your music from the den follows you down the hall and into the kitchen.

A home that can be securely accessed and controlled by you from anywhere in the world.

HAI Control Systems are the heart of our automated installs because they can coordinate all of the systems in your enviroment to talk to each other. An HAI control system adjusts the security, cooling, heating, and lighting automatically for comfort, convenience, and safety.

Home owners and Business owners recognize that an HAI control system can pay for itself through energy savings while increasing the value and enjoyment of their property.

The following demonstrates just a fraction of what our control system can do (requires flash player to be installed - Show Non-flash Graphic):

How do you wish to interact with your home control system?

HAI home control systems may be managed via a variety of interface options, including Touchscreens, consoles, keypads, keyfobs, switches, telephones, and software.

HAI's OmniTouch 5.7 is a simple-to-use Touchscreen that looks beautiful recessed in a wall.

If you would like to control your home remotely, HAI provides several different options.

HAI sells several different software products to interface with your home control system.

You may use our Snap-Link program to remotely access your home over the Internet. Snap-Link offers you the ability to securely access and control your home while leaving no trace behind by plugging a simple USB key drive into any computer in the world. HAI’s Web-Link II software can also be used for remote access with any HAI Home Controller.

Snap-Link Mobile and WL3 for Windows® Home Server both allow you to monitor and control lights, security, audio, temperatures, and webcams on your cell phone.

HAI’s Home Control for Windows Media Center allows you to sit in front of your television and use the Media Center’s remote to change your home’s automation settings.  With so many different configurations of interface options available, you’re certain to have your home both looking and performing exactly the way that you want it.

Pronto Link for Phillips is an integration module for the Philips TSU9600 or TSU9400 Pronto remote that allows the Pronto remote to control HAI Omni and Lumina family automation systems, as well as standard home theater components.

Is the system easy to understand and operate?

If you know how to use a basic security system, you already know how to operate an HAI home automation system. Even young children can learn and understand how to use the basic features of the system. Day-to-day events are controlled with one button, such as Day, Night or Away; while more specific activities are menu driven to change temperature, lights, etc.

HAI systems are so easy to use that they are called Automation Simplified®.

Can the system be controlled over the telephone or Internet?

All HAI systems can be accessed and controlled over the telephone, either from within or away from home, and over the Internet. Check and adjust lights, temperature, and security from your phone and/or computer.

Not only can you call to check on the status of your home over the telephone, but your system can actually contact you! Program your system to call you over the phone to inform you when your children have arrived home from school or if the alarm has gone off.

We even offer video surveillance capabilities over the Internet, so you can get a visual check of your home via your office PC, PDA, or web-enabled phone. Receive e-mails or text messages to inform you of what is happening at home.

HAI Internet software does not require a subscription.

Can the system be easily expanded later if my needs change?

You can expand and customize your home automation system now, or at any time in the future. You can add Touchscreens, remotes, or Whole Home Audio and home theater controls.

Reliability

HAI uses embedded controller technology in its home control systems, a technology proven to be reliable with decades of use. They still have many of they're first generation controllers in use, some of them have been installed and running continuously since 1988!

Some of our competitors use personal computers, which have a useful life of 3-5 years. Wouldn’t you like a system that will last longer than 3 years?

All HAI products will work in a standalone fashion so they are not dependent on any other products in the house. If you have a leaky roof that short circuits your Omni or Lumina controller, everything in the house will function as normal. For example, light switches still control the lights and thermostats still control your heating and cooling system. There is no single part that can cause an entire system to fail. That is not true of many of our competitors’ products.

HAI makes sure that all of they're products are tested to the highest industry standards to ensure reliability and safety. To ensure the highest quality, HAI has products tested by Underwriters Laboratories (UL), the most stringent test lab in North America. Many of our competitors product manufactures refuse or are unable to meet these strict requirements.

In addition to meeting UL requirements, HAI also meets CE requirements. In most cases the requirements and testing for CE are more difficult, but HAI goes the extra distance to ensure the highest quality product available.
